Kristyn Gartland, Case Manager of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), the crew behind Sci-Fi's hit television show Ghost Hunters, says, "Everyone in TAPS has their own specialty. We all have different personalities, but it's great. It is a great place to be"

But that is not all Kristyn Gartland does.

She is currently offering classes at the TAPS headquarters in Rhode Island for paranormal investigators called Paranormal 101. The course is designed to prepare investigators for an investigation. It covers everything from the initial contact with the potential client to the actual investigation and feedback for the client.

"I was fortunate enough to have learned under the best guys in the paranormal: Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes. I was given the opportunity to travel all over to investigate and be a part of a great Ghost Hunters TV show." says Gartland.

"It took a long time to fine tune my skills as an investigator and I decided I wanted to share my experience by helping other investigators. I taught classes in the past with Mike Dion in Boston. I wanted to branch off on my own a little." Gartland explains.

"I have had too many experiences in the past to list; however, the ordeal I went through and the experience I have gathered from TAPS make me a great person to teach this class. I am very outgoing and I like to keep it on the light side. Not too serious; not too silly."

When asked about what she wanted her students to gain from participating in Paranormal 101, Gartland says that she wants to provide the information to broaden her student's knowledge of the many different kinds of hauntings, what to do when faced with them, and the signs to look for when dealing with clients.

"There are many aspects of paranormal investigations and I hope people leave with a wide range of knowledge." Gartland replied.

Gartland first made contact with Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, the founders of TAPS and members of SciFi's hit show Ghost Hunters, nine years ago when she experienced an inhuman spirit in her own home.

I can tell you the one personal account I had was hearin a phone ringing in the sentence block- only one problem- the phone was gone- only the wires were coming out of the brick- but it WAS ringing. There is way too many stories to divulge here- check it out start poking. The place is abandoned as of now and would be easily accessible.
