So many cases are NOT yet entered into the NCIC...if it were fully utilized to it's potential...imagine the results? Would it overwhlem the system? Would it make a difference? Would it spark improvement in the system? Would it prove a point? Would anyone care? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

108,492 Missing Persons listed in their system.
Children and adult.
(Down from May 31, 2007 total of 109,146)
There are (approximately) 6,408Unidentified Persons listed their system.
Children and adult.
(Up from May 31, 2007 total of 6,375)

Of the 108, 949 missing...only 1,435 of them are Canadian numbers.
Of the 5,972 unidentified...only 50 of them are Canadian numbers.
The rest are USA and it's territories.

as of 12-31-06
Washington DC has more missing person's than any other city (listed with the NCIC) with
4,042 missing persons. (Up from last previous months total of 3,963)
Most Unidentified City:
as of 12-31-06 New York City has more unidentified person's than any other city (listed with the NCIC) with 399 unidentified persons ( Down from previous months total of 402)
