It's Official, America's Favorite Alcoholic Drink is Beer
Once Again, Beer Drinks Outnumber Wine and Hard Liquor Customers
Despite the increase of popularity in events such as wine festivals and wine tastings, the most popular alcholic drink in the United States continues to be beer. The alcoholic drink made from malt and hops remains at the top of the Gallup Survey results released recently. According to aIt's Official, America's Favorite Alcoholic Drink is Beer
Beer is the largest money producer among alcoholic beverages in the United States as well. Fifty six percent of all alcohol servings by volume are varieties of beer. Wine and hard liquor still trail beer's national popularity at America's choice. With the popularity of beer remaining higher than the other beverages, more websites are being developed. Anheuser-Busch is in the process of developing a website called "The Beer Connoisseur".
A preview of the website can be viewed at another beer website called "Here's To Beer". The Beer Connoisseur will over a variety of information for beer drinks. It will include classes to give information on the ingredients that go into making different styles of beer, the brewing processes that are used to produce those types of beer, the different styles of beer that exist in the world today, and one other subject that has traditionally been considered more for wine. That subject is food pairings. There are many information sources and classes that discuss food pairings for wine and food but very little for beer and food. The Beer Conoisseur's website will aid beer drinkers in finding the types of beers to pair with their favorite foods.
Another option "The Beer Connoisseur" website will offer is for fans of beer and employers to track the progress of their employees while learning about beer through the online courses. There will be also be a section of the website where interested consumers can find out about local educational events about beer and beer festivals.
