Aussie products have always been hit or miss for me. I normally use their hair sprays, and I never seem to have the same experience twice. This time I tried Aussie Dual Personality Hi Hold + Hi Shine. I was not impressed.

Description

The spray I purchased comes in a tall metal aerosol can. I know I'm killing the environment, and I have absolutely no good reason for not using pump, except that it doesn't work as well on my hair. Maybe by giving me a product that doesn't work, someone is trying to tell me to stop depleting the ozone layer? The can does say that it does not have the ingredient that causes ozone depletion, though. I'm not a scientist, so I really have no idea about this. Guilt aside, though, and on to the review.

Net Weight is 10oz/283 g. Probably for any normal person, this amount could last several months. But, I have very curly, unmanageable hair, and I typically go through a can of hair spray in less than two months. The hold is "maximum" hold.

Ingredients

The top ingredients are: Water, Dimethyl Ether, Alcohol Denat, Diglycol/Chdm/Isophthalates/Sip Copolymer, Octylacrylamide/Acrylates/butylaminoethyl, Methacrylate Copolymer

The ingredients that make up the scent are: Anigozanthos Flavidus Flower Extract, Prunus Serotina (Wild Cherry), Bark Extract, Mentha Piperita (peppermint) Leaf Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, And Kangaroo Paw Flower Extract (whatever on earth that might be).

Now, of course, to a layman like myself, none of the above means anything expect that this product has a lot of junk it. If the junk serves a purpose fine, but in my opinion, this junk did not.

My Opinion
