Seven weekends of renaissance fun! Step back into the days of elegant lords and ladies and knights in shining armor Jesters, minstrels and rogues entertain in the village The festival begins Labor Day weekend Favorite attractions in the 16th century village include knights jousting on horseback, soothing music on the dulcimer, mandolin and harp, fire eating and comedy. Feast on exotic foods such as huge turkey legs, roasted corn on the cob, Scotch eggs and chocolate covered cheesecake, There are 162 shops with unique renaissance ware and souvenirs.

Living History Tours are available daily, leaving every half hour, for visitors who seek to understand more about the medieval period of time Special events during the festival include weddings, parties, Queen's Tea Party , Royal Cigar Smoker and the Feaste of Fooles

The Queen's Tea Party is held daily at 2 pm tea with the Queen at the ladies of her court Scrumptious treats include scones, Devonsshire Cream, Crumpets, Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Triffle Tickets to the tea party are $9. Seating is limited so purchase at the front gate or in advance is recommended

The Royal Cigar Smoker is held s the day draws to a close The Lord Mayor's Company hosts the event, which includes premium cigars, spirits and snacks. Bawdy entertainment and belly dancing begin at 4:30 daily in the Royal Deck in the Wildwood Must be 21or older. $12 per person
