What is wrong with America these days? To be more specific, what is wrong with the American people these days? To be even more specific, American kids. I had a conversation the other day with a kid, around 20 or so, who is going into the Army, and it scared the crap out of me.

We got into a heated discussion about how he think Bush gets a bad rap and isn't nearly as bad as he is made out to be. This, obviously, got me going, but what really bothered me was the fact that he had no real concept of the way things have happened. Example? How about when he told me that Bush went to Congress for permission to declare war and the Congress said OK. As anybody who picked up a newspaper in the past six years should know - Yes, Bush went to Congress for permission, but NO, they did not OK it. They actually told him not to go to war, which is why it wasn't classified as a war. No war = No permission. I'll give him not knowing how things really happened (to an extent) if he didn't pick up a paper or anything, but his reasoning was asinine. All he had to say was that Bush got the OK from Congress because he was supposed to. Yup, you heard me right. Since the Constitution states that a President has to go to Congress to start a war, he just assumed that's the way it happened. After I point out the obvious fact that his President didn't call it a war so he wouldn't need the permission he called me a liar. Yes, this idiot believed that this was always classified as a war and nothing else.

I am so disgusted with all our spineless politicians. I am so disgusted that our politicians will not do anything about our borders. We have to secure our borders from illegals and terrorists first and then we need to fix our economy and boost the moral and deal with the fabric of America. Instead, our government wants to spend our tax dollars policing the world. The only way any people have ever been able to force change from their government is through revolt. The illegals need to go home and revolt against their government for change in their country and we need to do the same here. Forget trying to bluster at other countries to prove we still have authority. We need to build from within and be strong enough for mere presence to mean something to the world. Our government is not going to do it. They are weak, spineless crap and it is going to be up to the people to make change.. Let's go.

I totally agree with you. But how do the people, us , go about revolting? I think that is where the quandary is. I am all for it!

We do have a way to revolt, that is through the vote. I'm getting fed up with both parties at this time (It used to be only the Democrats.) We need a good third party that cares about the wishes and concerns of the American people.

the government should be on trial and hung from the nearest tree. but they own the milatry which the people pay for. and the government vowed too never let the people have the ability to over take the government. the boston tea party came from a large group of people that had the same values, well the government saw to it that there isnt one group large enough with the same values to create justice from(THE PEOPLE)

There are so many young men and woman here who feel the same,that the time is at hand in which we as a people, we the people must unite .Not stand as a house divided but as one.Hear my words those of you in whom refuse to stand by and have our rights cast down before us.Those rights bought with the high price being blood of our great,great grandfathers and grandmothers our family,s blood.How they our fore fathers must turn in their graves at what we have allowed to become of this great land and our once so very strong American people.I know with in my heart that their are still strong and brave men and women in our land,but for some it is hard to face the fear and to rise up against those in whom would be our rulers rather than our leaders.Those who would make life better for the powerful few rather than the more common mases.The time for talk alone has long past the time for us like minded to gather long over due.Let our voices and our actions be as the many not as the one that can

Excellent article! It seems some on here are always quick to defend Bush no matter what. I didn't read the ignorant comments because I don't need to. I know full well what ignorant sounds like. Let them be sheep. Well done.

(continued) There's laws against plants, fines against people who don't have the right tags on their license plate, and pubescent young men and women never maturing because they are told they aren't adults until they turn 18, then poof! Just look at everything and realize the lame level of thought that went into it. I could come up with better ideas over night. In fact I think I do just about every night >:(

I found this page because I was seeing if there were any groups forming, ready for a revolution. I look at the world and the people around me and find myself basically pretty enraged by the fact that so many people are so shut off from rationality and what should be common sense, but when preeched falls on deaf ears. So many people just ACCEPT the way things are and don't even consider what life would be like if things were different. People are too busy flapping their jaws to open their minds and see that they are just slaves to the rules and limitations of people in power. It is an imaginary power though built from documentation, threats, fear, and mercenaries. These people seem so big, but they're really the smallest forms of life on the planet, and we have them outnumbered. Too bad everyone's too busy worrying about the terrorists, and Bruce and Demi, and pimpin' their rides, so no one does anything worth while. I went AWOL from the nasty guard in 03. I see right thru the BS of bush. Now they want to kill off people legally with vaccines. This will not go far! A war is brewing in America, not a legal one either. Kids are dying from flu shots like GI's are. And you CANT sue the Dr. either! That is murder, 1st degree. No wonder we have terrorists against the west, its all about money, for Drs. Like the Insurance scam. We have little time, lets take america back. 1775 AD
