Gadsden State Community College: Maters Pizza and Pasta Emporium

Located on fourth and Locust Street in historic downtown Gadsden, Maters Pizza and Pasta Emporium is just a five minute drive from Gadsden State Community College. Maters Pizza and Pasta Emporium was established in 1978 as a small pizza restaurant. It now occupies half of a block and has added a great seafood bar and game room.

Maters Pizza and Pasta Emporium is famous for it's signature pizza. Their pizzas are huge and you'll never mistake them for anyone else's pizza. A cherry tomato is placed in the center of each pizza and their pies are thick and loaded with cheese and toppings. Choose one of their delicious topping combinations or create your own. Either way it will be delicious.

Maters Pizza and Pasta Emporium has a great seafood bar. Choose from very generous platters of shrimp, crawfish, oysters, and crab legs. The seafood bar is conveniently located at the beverage bar. Nothing washes down a platter of crawfish better than a cold beer or wine cooler. With dozens of domestic beer, imported beer, and wine coolers there is a drink for everyone's tastes.

The game room is next to the bar. There is a pool table, arcade, and televisions. Don't worry about having to step outside to enjoy a smoke since the bar and game room area is a smoking area. If cigarette smoke bothers you, you can eat your food in the non smoking area of the restaurant, which is on the opposite end of the building from the bar.
