For millions, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was an experience, not just a T.V show. This year marks the 10th anniversary since Buffy began and fans are still as ravenous as always. But with the show long gone, what can a fan do to keep in the Buffy loop? Well, while the quirky episodes have ended the legacy still lives on, in other ways. So what are you missing?

Season Eight

Season wha? "But I thought the series ended after 7.." you must be thinking. Think again! The brilliant creator of Buffy, Joss Whedon, is continuing the series through a new medium: comic books. And they are great! He, along with other writers from the show and some great artists are bringing back the Scooby Gang (as they so crowned themselves) and telling the tale of what comes after the series finale. They've brought back some great enemies and thrown in a few good twists.

The first five issues are already out, and Joss has said fans can expect around thirty to thirty-five issues to make up all of season eight! But that's not all... he's also already hinting that there will be a season nine as well! The comics are being published by Dark Horse comics and can be ordered through their website or found at most comic book stores.

The Buffy Box Set

Still relatively new, there is a box set of the entire 7 season series for purchase. Not only do you get every broodingly awesome episode but there are so many special features packed into this thing it could make a Slayerette's head explode (though I imagine we should leave head exploding to demons and not people). In fact, there is as separate disc with a lengthy interview with Joss and some of the cast and lots of demonic goodies.

It's pricey, at about $199, but there's many websites offering it for cheaper, like Amazon.com with a price tag of $165. And for a true fan, money is no object.

The Buffy Sing-Along

Yeah, you read that right. Who doesn't love one of the greatest episodes ever, the buffy musical, Once More, With Feeling? Even non-fans who have seen it can't help but smile at the awesome tunes and cheesy dance numbers. Want to relive the spectacle on big screen? You can.

This is awesome! I love the idea of people travelling performing the songs from "Once More with Feeling!"
