It flooded the valleys and
Inundated the hills,
From beyond the mountain tops
It cascaded in spills.

Spellbinding glory
Wrapped in the wings of a dove,
A magnificent display
Gift wrapped from above

Whether wonderful summer sun
Or sparkling winter delight,
It comes with the sun
Drowning all that was night.

Flooding the sky
With incessant power,
Rousing slumbering souls
Still grumbling and sour.

But what soul abounds
Who can stay that way
When sun overcomes moon
And turns dark into day?

When they look at the colors
Faint, yet still flying
Bright like angel's wings
Immortal, Undying.

It is the morning beauty
Sunrise, it does call
So come out this morn and enjoy it
Come see this grand ball
This shimmering succulent tranquility that was made for us all.
