HIgher Cigarette Tax: Good for Society or Mean for the Addicted?
Is it Fair to Have to Pay More for These Mini Cigars?

With all the new laws being passed to save the American soul by the U.S. Government, it leaves those of us whose only control on the issue is a measly little vote, to begin to ask questions. Such as, "Are higher taxes for cigarettes fair?" After careful exploration of the idea and trying to understand the backing behind all of these "new laws" and with careful consideration of those "people" who are directly affected, I have concluded my own set of reasons and bring forth a lovely explanation in which describes exactly where I stand on this magnificent idea.
I say, by all means, yes! I think it is absolutely hilarious to make one pay more for an item that kills them. Cigarettes, or shall I say "mini cigars", are disgusting. I do not think that any one who smokes is in any manner more neat, more cool, more fun, or more hot or attractive.
In fact, I believe that each person who smokes is just one more person to thus create the society in which we call "lower class". Even if the smoker is able to generate a healthy portion of funds for them annually, this still, in my mind, keeps them in the "lower class".
By "lower class", I mean, not as sophisticated of a class, not as intelligent of a class, not as "pretty" of a class, and most importantly, I mean a class that supports the regression of humanity as a whole.
We have spent many a dollar trying to create ways for Fire Fighters and other fume ridden smoke inhaling occupations to not have to breathe in the dangerous chemicals that are in smoke or just the smoke itself. But then, you have these "addicted claiming" foes going around inhaling as much as they can get their hands on. Regression. This is pure regression.
Not to mention, and might I add I am not the only one who thinks this, the smells emitted from cigarettes are gross. And the way one looks: all leathery, dusty, yellow eyes and fingers, strung out, and most of all stupid are all characteristics of every single smoker I have ever met in my entire life. Actually, I don't think a smoker is disgusting to me - I know they are.
