Coupons: Hassle or Gain?

Is it worth your trouble to keep a ledger for your bank account? Same difference here. Don't go out and clip every coupon in sight. But, "clip" only coupons for products or places that you use often or visit frequently.

Living like an old lady and having an entire coupon wall is absolutely asinine. But having a spot in your billfold or purse makes using them not any hassle at all.

There is absolutely no "trouble" at all in randomly looking in a magazine, doing something you enjoy anyways, just to find a coupon for a $1.00 OFF of your most favorite shampoo of all times. Nor is there any trouble in reading the comics in your local weekly newspaper just to see a Free-Cup-Of-Queso-With-Any-Meal-Purchase coupon for your all time favorite restaurant. Not to mention, the reason they are your all time favorite is because of the Queso.

In addition, there is absolutely no hassle in taking sixty seconds to give your name and e-mail address to your most favorite stores of all times. You then get coupons sent to you. The "hassle" of having to find them like back in 1980 is a thing of the past.

Coupons are sent out in the mail like a little kid blows bubbles into the air. Anywhere you look, you will see coupons. As you walk into grocery stores, pick up their daily or weekly flyers. Scan it to find the products you were going in there to get. If you find nothing, forget it. If you get lucky, great! No hassle what so ever.

One thing I do as I am randomly surfing the web, either while I am chatting with friends or waiting for something to load, I go online and look for product samples. When each sample comes to me via mail, they usually send me coupons in addition. If I like the product, then voila, now I have this great $1.00 - $5.00 OFF coupon in hand for my next shopping trip. No hassles.
