Gorman, in essence you did make the accusation...if you note my sources, and view each of them, you'll see that I draw from multiple sources. And, I happen to have a roster of people who view my article when I post it and enjoy it. The more appropriate question, from my end, is what is wrong with me collecting the information and making it available to those who frequent Associated Content and visit daily for multiple pieces of information? Many people visit this site daily for varied content. If they enjoy a 'today in history piece,' what is wrong with making it available here? Yes, it is available elsewhere, but why not also for AC?

I didn't accuse you of plagarism, actually. I asked why you would repost information already available elsewhere. For example, brainyhistory states, "August 1, 1628 Emperor Ferdinand II demands Austria Protestant convert to Catholicism". You, of course, made Protestant plural and added a "that" into the mix. You pick and choose a few years from a few pages and post it as an article under your name. What's the point?

Thanks for the comments. You might notice at the end of my article, I draw my information from three different sources. I do NOT copy and paste.

But it was Drake that beat the Armada in 1588.

Maybe instead of just copying from brainyhistory et al, you could go into further depth about the events and write an actual article. If it's already on the web elsewhere, why repost it?
