UW Marshfield / Wood County Student Clubs and Organizations

Even though the University of Marshfield/Wood County is a smaller school, they still have quite a few clubs and organizations for the students to join. The University is located in Marshfield, Wisconsin and offers a lot of courses for students.

Clubs and organizations are a great way to meet new people and get to know others in your school. It is also a great way to have fun and participate in what you enjoy. At the UW Marshfield/Wood County they have the Phi Theta Kappa. This is an invitation only fraternity that is based on your academic excellence and grade point average. They get involved in a variety of different projects throughout the community and the school.

Students Against Acts of Prejudice is an organization where students can join together and raise awareness of the effects of prejudice to others. They get together and provide a safe environment for those who are victims of this act.

They also have a math club where you can show your knowledge of mathematics. They get together and go to competitions and learn more about the history and other concepts of math.

The Film Screening Club is for those that are interested in the art of film. This club films annual films for the semiannual film series. This is a great club to join if you are going into a career in the film industry or if you just want to have some fun. You get hands on experience with the equipment and behind the scenes process that takes place while filming.

If you enjoy acting and want to be on stage for the UW's plays then Theatre Arts is for you. Here you will be a part of all the plays and shows that the UW puts on. Whether you want to be on stage or you would rather be behind the scenes doing something else the Theatre Arts Club is a lot of fun! They are famous in the city for the shows that they put on. Plus they are always sold out for all their shows.
