Cotton Caper Fashion Boutique in Long Island Still Survives!

I remember as a kid there were Cotton Caper's everywhere. They were equivalent to today's Mandee's and GAP. Only they were the most popular in the early 80's.

Back then you could stop by and get clothing, jewelry, underwear, and other cute fashion items. However as time has gone by Cotton Caper is a name that most people have never even heard of, and as of now there is only one left on Long Island that I am aware of. I have searched all over the place looking on the Internet for any surviving cotton capers, and my search led me to just one. However I already knew it was there, I just wondered, if it was the last of the Mohican's.

Seeing how my search led me to nowhere ville, and back. I figured I would come on and write a review about the one last Cotton Caper that I know of on Long Island.

This Cotton Caper is located on 376 Main Street in Center Moriches. (Long Island, New York) 11934.

As of now this tiny shop struggles to keep up with the surrounding real estate/travelers agents/ dentist's, and of course the high rent on the building. Keeping a mom and pop type shop in the main town of Center Moriches is not only difficult due to the lack of traffic visiting these shops, but they struggle to remain open because rent goes up, and all that can afford such absurd prices belong to agencies. However Cotton Caper has managed to remain open since the birth of the store in Center Moriches.

I like many people who visit/work in this town wish to have Cotton Caper remain there for as long as possible, seeing how it's location is not the greatest in the world, I figured I would tell everyone willing to read this about the store, and why they should shop there.

For one, Cotton Caper really brings that old town charm to Center Moriches. If it were to close down, it would turn into another frigging law office, and trust me, I work in this neighborhood, and there is honestly only 3 or 4 mom and pop shops left in town. I, like many others would like to see the remaining shops stay.
