The basic S'mores recipes that we're all familiar with is made of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows. We can thank the Girl Scouts for the creative creation that has been a family favorite for generations. The traditional recipe is:

Traditional S'mores Recipe:

8 long sticks to toast marshmallows
Four sheets (16 squares) Honey Graham Crackers
8 original Hershey chocolate bars
16 marshmallows

Break cracker squares and chocolate bars into two pieces. Toast marshmallows using the long sticks on the campfire or heat source, and place immediately on top of chocolate and graham cracker. Use second graham cracker to create a sandwich' and enjoy!

To create the ultimate S'mores, try the easy recipe below that can even be made in the microwave! For truly sensational S'mores, use fire-roasted marshmallows fresh off the campfire.

Variation for Ultimate S'mores:

Four sheets (16 squares) Cinnamon Graham Crackers
8 dark chocolate Hershey Bars
8 Milk chocolate Hershey Bars
16 marshmallows

Break cracker squares and chocolate bars into two pieces. For this recipe, you will add an additional dark piece of chocolate. Layer a graham cracker, two chocolate bars, and marshmallow on microwaveable plate. Heat for 15 seconds on high, and create a sandwich' with the second graham cracker. Enjoy!

Introduce variations of the original S'more recipe with your own ingredients, and you will create a memorable experience at your next event or camping trip. S'mores are low-cost, great tasting treats year round so make use of the microwave when you don't have the opportunity to use fire-roasted marshmallows.
