Those who wager on greyhound races, for the most part, have a particular affinity for the dogs that can come from behind in a contest. For those fans of the sport, I would suggest that you follow the exploits of a brother and sister who run at Dubuque Greyhound Park in Dubuque, Iowa. Pat C Get It and Pat C She's Right are the poster children for closers, and both do it in distance races, making it even better for those that prefer a dog to have to come from off the pace. This pair of exciting siblings originally ran at Naples-Ft. Myers Greyhound Park in Bonita Springs, Florida before heading to the Midwest for the summer, where they give the Dubuque fans a charge every time out.

Pat C Shes Right is the more accomplished of this dynamic duo, as she has chalked up grade A races in the win column at both venues. Shes Right has taken a backwards step on the track just once, amazingly in the very first route race she was entered in. Breaking in at Naples back in September of 2006 in the sprints, she showed the ability to come on in the late stages of the race. with exceptional vigor. Her early speed was almost nonexistent, but the black female out of DK's Prime Time and Some Cookie was such a powerful closer that she rapidly ascended the Naples grading ladder until reaching Grade A. Once there, she won two out of five sprints, coming from way back to run down all the leaders, and was switched to the longer 660 yard route for her first try two days before Christmas. Pat C Shes Right came out of the box on top and led all the way until tiring a bit late, losing in the stretch by a length. That race is the only one for both of these animals in which they led early.
