Toastmaster Cool Touch Belgian Waffle Maker - Review

Cool Touch Waffle Maker

I received my Toastmaster Cool 233 Touch Belgian Waffle Maker from a friend as a Christmas Gift. As she knew my family loved waffles.

The outside is white and very sturdy and has handles that are molded along with the exterior as one solid piece on the top and bottom of the waffle iron. There are no cracks or crevices for food to get into. The light on top lets you know when it is hot enough to be used, then just pour
your batter on, and wait about 3 1/2 to 4 minutes and your waffle is ready to be served.

Who ever thought that making a waffle iron, light weight, with a carrying handle and attached cord would make for such great waffles. But, then maybe it is my waffle mix. As I use my Oatmeal Waffle Recipe, with butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, oatmeal, flour, milk and eggs. But, I really think the waffle maker helps make my recipe taste that much better. If that is possible.

This waffle iron has made making waffles so much easier. With a non stick waffled surface. That I have found I don't have to use any spray or butter. They can be lifted off of the waffle iron by just taking a butter knife and lifting up one side. And there you have it one perfectly round shaped piping hot waffle the good size of a medium plate. Then out come the strawberries and whip cream for the way my family loves to have waffles. It is a wonderful nutritious breakfast or meal. (you can use low fat whip cream)

This light weight waffle iron is made by Toastmaster and makes clean up a breeze, all I have to do is take a wet dish cloth with a little soap on it and wipe it over the non stick surface and then use a cloth with just water, to wipe any reside from the soap away, wipe off the outside, and it is ready for storage for the next batch of waffles.

You know whats funny, I was given one of these and have never used it. I took it out of the box with intentions to use it, and then gave up when I realized I was hungry and din't want to mix up anything. lol. Im so friggin lazy... I'm sure the extra effort would have been 100x's better than my ego waffles. lol.

Aktiv8 F8, all I make is waffles in mine, you will have to message me and let me know what else I can use a belgian waffle maker for. Thank you to everyone for your comments. Just a note. As of Monday, I probably won't be writing or reading for awhile. I am not forgetting about everyone, just won't be able to do it with a cast on. But, once I am up and around, cast or no cast, I will be back writing and rating one handed. LOL. Hugs Mary

Ha ha... You are like my husband - his waffle iron is one of the loves of his life. We have a different brand though - maybe I should write about it also to compare. Did you know you can make more than waffles in it?
