I loved my time at Bluefield and I'm so glad I chose to enter their adult degree program. I say that for many different reasons. For one thing, you can't beat the flexibility they offer their adult students. They offer five degree options that are: Behavioral Science, Criminal Justice, E-Business & Entrepreneurship, Management & Leadership and Marketing. You only attend class one night a week and the rest is on-line. There are no weekend classes, and the semesters are accelerated so you can finish your degree in half the time it would take you at another institution. Actually, most degree plans are only three semesters long assuming you have completed all the prerequisites. Not only that but you also complete your degree as part of a cohort and because you complete the entire program with the same group of people you quickly establish friendships.
In addition, Bluefield offers some other great options to their adult degree students. If you are active military they will give you a 35% discount on tuition. If you are a Virginia resident you will be eligible for the Virginia Tuition Grant (VTAG). They also offer financial aid, scholarships and convenient payment plans. Bluefield was great to work with because they did not require me to pay my semester tuition up front. I used student loans and Bluefield was very flexible with the fact that as long as they had received my signed loan forms they would wait for the loan money to be received and I could still start classes.
