If you're wondering how to host the perfect Bachelor Party, (also commonly known as a "Stag Party"), you'll first need to know some facts about this type of celebration. It's a celebration that's held for a man right before he gets married. The event is the last chance the groom-to-be has to "party hearty" with his male friends. Traditionally, the party involves a female stripper; alcohol usually flows like water; and the theme of the night is "Outrageous Fun."Nowadays, Bachelor Parties have evolved into celebrations that take the the groom-to-be's interests into account. This "farewell to his bachelorhood" party might still include a female stripper and drinking alcohol. But Bachelor Parties often include watching a favorite sports game on a big-screen television, attending a sporting event, going to a casino, playing Poker, and more.
One of the groom-to-be's brothers usually hosts the Bachelor Party. If he/they choose not to, then a male friend can host the party instead. No matter who hosts the party, he will want to host the perfect Bachelor Party so it will be a night to remember.
The first thing to do is start planning the event well ahead of time. The brother or friend should start planning six to eight weeks before the date of the Bachelor Party. (Check the calendar to avoid scheduling the Bachelor Party on or too close to a holiday.) To host the perfect Bachelor Party, the man in charge should consult with the honoree about certain items. The date and time of the celebration need to be determined, as well as the location, the activities for the evening, and the guest list.
Ideally, a Bachelor Party should be held about four weeks ahead of the wedding. As for the location, it can be held at a private home, at a rented banquet room, in a box at a sports arena,
at a bar, or at most anywhere the host chooses. The location depends on the chosen activities for the evening. If the location is going to be rented, then the host needs to make the necessary arrangements at least a month in advance.
