Anthropology - Learn all there is to know about cultural anthropology, archaeology, and or biology anthropology. Get the chance to do some research and mentoring with the six different labs, two fields schools, and five Natural Science Foundation grants offered in this program.

Little Known Facts: There's approximately 1,403 faculty members, 55 academic departments, 21,884 undergraduates, and 4,534 postgraduates. The school was established in 1870. The current president of the school, Larry Penley (inducted on August of 2003) is the 13th in the university's history. The university has operated under several different names over the years, including the Agricultural College of Colorado in 1879, Colorado College of Agricultural and Mechanic Arts or Colorado A&M in 1935, and Colorado Agricultural and Mechanical College in 1944 before becoming Colorado State University or CSU in 1957.

Programs

Art - This program is heavy in almost every art-related area, including art education, art history, studio, drawing, fibers, graphic designs, metalsmithing, pottery, printmaking, and painting. You can go on to become graphic designers, jewelers, painters, photographers, potters, sculptors or educators. Students are shown such leading venues as the Louvre Museum of Decorative Arts, Moscow's New Tetraykov Museum, and London's Chelsea School of Art.

Economics - Combine theoretical and applied economics with many of the amazing things the liberal arts program teaches you, and keep your feet on the ground with this program. You can learn about regional economics, growth and development, inequality, financial institutions, and econometrics.

English - Go on to get a career in publishing, public relations, advertiing, sales, researching or business with this english program. The program focuses on creative writing, english education, language, and literature. Many have gone on to say how helpful and influential the english program at CSU was in their education.
