Shabby Chic Bathroom Decor for $10 or Less
Here are some simple ideas for adding shabby chic touches to existing bathrooms for a vintage and timeless look.
Ribbon
You can buy ribbon for $1 or less a yard and use it to add a shabby chic touch to your shower curtain. Simply cut off some 6 to 8inch pieces of ribbon. Take your fabric shower curtain or plastic shower curtain off the plain metal or plastic shower curtain rings.
Slip the ribbon through the shower curtain hole and tie them around the shower curtain rod in a bow. Tie a double knot before you tie the bow so they stay in place!

Fabric
Take the doors off of yoru existing bathroom vanity for this next shabby chic bathroom idea on a budget.
Buy some inexpensive shabby chic fabric or use a towel to make a shabby chic curtains to cover the bathroom vanity. You can use a tension rod or a simple and inexpensive café rod attached to the inside or front of your bathroom counter.
Once you install your curtain rod measure own far it is from the ground.
Cut your fabric twice as wide as yoru opening and about two inches taller.
Hem the bottom of the fabric with no sew or your sewing machine. Fold the top of the fabric over about an inch and sew it down as well to create a curtain rod pocket.
Side your shabby chic sink curtain on and you are finished! Café rods cost about $3. You can buy fabric for about $1 a yard as well!
Candles
Candles are the perfect addition to any bathroom, shabby chic or not. Try using some existing tea cup saucers or small salad plates on the back of the toilet as shabby chic candle plates.
You can buy affordable pillar candies at Michael's Arts and Crafts and place one on each little plate. This one will cost only a couple dollars if you already have little saucers.
