A Spoiler Free Review of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
There is no doubt that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the eagerly anticipated book by J.K. Rowling, was certainly worth the wait. The one piece of advice that I have for anyone who is interested in reading it is that you should make sure that you
read the last book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. If you feel that you may need to refresh your memory, I recommend that you read it again. Most of the events in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows deal with the last book, so it is very important if you wish to fully understand this book. Here, I will share with a spoiler-free opinion of the book.
If there is one word that I could use describe Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, it would be eventful. The book was certainly packed with a lot of action, right from the very start. In fact, I believe that there was much more action in this book than in the past six books in combination with one another. My prediction is that the movie for this book is not only going to be filled with action, but that children may be a bit afraid at some parts.
Aside from all of the action that is packed in the pages of this book, there are also some very touching moments. I can honestly say that there are some parts that made me laugh, as well as others that made me cry. I highly recommend that you have some tissues handy when you read this book, or you just may destroy the pages with a puddle of tears.
The thing that seems to amaze me the most is the amount of thought and extent of planning that J.K. Rowling put into the Harry Potter books. This can especially be seen in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Some of the things that you will learn during this story will probably shock you as much as it did me. There were some moments when I sat there in disbelief of some of the twists that this book takes on the entire series. If you read this book, I can guarantee you that there will be moments that you will not want to put it down because you will need to know what happens to Harry Potter and the characters that he encounters throughout this book.
