Bowman Makes Most of Second Chance

Most people in this world want a second chance at some point in their lives. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't. That's just the way the world works.

I was watching highlights of Adarius Bowman of Oklahoma State(pictured to the left) and I was amazed at what he's done with his second chance. He's one of my favorite players to watch and he is an excellent example of what a person can do with a second chance in this world. He was dismissed from UNC in 2004 by John Bunting when he and two other teammates were cited for marijuana possession. "I always think about that," Bowman said. "Every time that does cross my mind I thank God for Coach Gundy for giving me that second chance and allowing me to grow and learn from my mistakes rather than repeating them."
