Have you ever gone shopping and run into someone who was on their cell phone? Or maybe you heard someone talking very loudly and you thought they were talking to you but when you looked at them you saw they were just on their cell phone? In a restaurant two men were supposedly having lunch together but in actuality they were both on different cell phones talking to other people and not paying any attention to each other. Why bother having lunch together if you are going to be on your cell phone with another person.

Cell phones can be great. If you are in trouble you can call for help. And you can call people where you are and get a hold of them where they are. But let's pay some attention to the other people around us and save making phone calls until we are alone or at least not in a place that is annoying to other people. In other words don't invade the public with your private.

I find that when people are talking on their cell phone they are oblivious to the people around them and they can be very rude. In stores these people on there cell phones bump into you and walk in front of you. They get to the checkout and put their items on the counter before they pull out there cell phones and make a call. Then they pay no attention to the person at the checkout. I find it exceptionally rude. At least get your items paid for before you get the old cell phone out. Most of the time people on cell phones are not even talking about anything important you know because you can hear the conversation.

Then they walk out into the parking lot with their cell phone at there ear and they don't pay attention to where they are walking. You can easily run into these cell phone addicts or they can run into you. Driving is the absolute worse place for these cell phone addicts. What makes a person think they can drive and be on their cell phone at the same time. Do they really think they can drive well with a cell phone at there ear. Can't they wait until they are parked to make a call on a cell phone?

I don't think people that have a cell phone to their ear know how rude they can be.

People should have a few common courtesies when they are on a cell phone. Here are a few I can think of and maybe you can add a few.

People who use cell phones while driving are a menace. This practice should be outlawed.
