Exo-Electric Armor Made Ready in the Near Future
There's currently a jacket under development called the "No-Contact Jacket". One would ask what does the No-Contact Jacket do in the first place? This is a next step towards self-defense and protection as the companyThough the cities are relatively safe, there are bad areas that one is not supposed to go into due to the high rate of crime such as: rape, murder, robbery, drug dealing, etc. Those are things victims cannot prepare themselves one-hundred percent of the way. The small percentage is more than enough for the attackers to get their way. It's a rare chance but a chance that should not be overlooked ever.
You do not want to gamble with your life. Once you lose your life you cannot reclaim it. You die and you pass on into the afterlife if it does exist. Because of these types of crimes keep escalating, there comes a need for clothing that actually protects you. For this reason, the No-Contact Jacket is under development. Currently, it's not on sale yet and the price tag is unknown at the moment.
The No-Contact Jacket is electrically charged as it will send up to eighty-thousand volts of low-amperage electricity to anybody that tries to touch or grab you. Provided that they lay a hand on the coat. The jolt of electricity should interrupt the assailant(s) neurological impulses which will cause muscles to short circuit for the time being giving you more than enough time to escape.
How does the jacket emit electricity?
It's powered up by a 9-volt battery that you can buy at any store. As long you have a fresh 9-volt battery hooked up, the No-Contact Jacket should be powered up and ready to wear wherever you go.
Is the flow of electricity constant?
The flow of electricity isn't constant. There's a button inside the left sleeve when pressed will activate the 9V battery hooked up inside and send those eighty-thousand volts of electricity to the attacker(s). You press the button, let the jacket shock your attacker(s), release the button, and run off to another location.
