Trying to Conceive? Fertility Friend Can Help

Whether you are just now trying to conceive or if you have been struggling with infertility, you have a friend at Fertility Friend (www.fertilityfriend.com). Fertility Friend is a website community that offers both a free and a paid membership for users trying to conceive a child. Free
members can use store and print an unlimited number of cycles of charts and receive detailed analysis and ovulation detection. VIP members receive a fully featured calendar, chart overlays, intercourse timing analysis, weight tracker, fertility status monitor, statistics, more in depth fertility analysis, cycle planners, conception advisors, ovulation predictor kit (OPK) optimizers, ovulation predictors, online journals and more. Perhaps one of the most popular features of VIP memberships is the access to Fertility Friend's message boards and buddy groups.

One of the hallmarks of trying to conceive is the concept of charting basal body temperatures, or BBT, to pinpoint ovulation. Each morning, upon waking, the user takes her temperature using a BBT thermometer. Fertility Friend allows users to record their BBT online then displays a graph showing the highs and lows. Here users chart their various fertility signs in an effort to pinpoint when they will ovulate, giving them the best chances of conceiving.

When a cycle begins on day one of the menstrual period, temperatures are low. Once ovulation occurs, temperatures rise significantly. While this data only tells that ovulation has occurred after the fact, over a few cycles, the user will learn approximately which cycle day she typically ovulates on. Combined with detailed computer analysis and alerts, the user can time her intercourse, or baby dancing as Fertility Friend users like to call it, on her most fertile days.

In addition, other fertility signs and situations can be monitored and charted such as cervical mucous, cervix position, menstruation, intercourse, ovulation predictor kits test results, pregnancy test results and medications taken. Taken together over a period of several cycles, the user learns a great deal about her body and her fertility.

Join any site but FF. Mommygossip has Nazi's too by the way. You have to agree with everything they say or you are banned.

One more thing, these people are so crazy that they try to track down people that say anything negative about them in their blogs. Then they threaten them with law suits.

Just in case anybody is interested, they are still operating the same way. Do not pay these people a dime. I promise you will regret it.

Another mommygossip.com lady here :) I'll second it's the BEST site for support. Get some free charting software somewhere but STAY AWAY from the forums over at FF. Do not pay them money! It's criminal. I wasn't kicked off but banned and suspended twice. Once was because I posted the same message in three boards - heaven forbid! I was in three groups...so did an x post! I argued my case with no response at all! They're crazy.

I agree with everyone else about FF!!! Another useful site if you're trying to conceive (and the one I got banned from FF for mentioning!) is peestickgallery.com - searchable gallery of HPT photos (which you can vote on!), polls and community - all *free* to use and we actually *encourage* free speech there ;)

I have never been banned or had any warnings in several years of posting, until recently. I sent a link to another site to another site member via a private message, and I have been banned. I apologized and promised not to do it again THREE TIMES, and have been subjected to threatening/aggressive messages from "Stormy" (site administrator) despite keeping my tone civilized and respectful. FF used to be a good forum, but since their "zero tolerance" of any attempt to contact someone outside of this site or talk about other web sites (regardless of whether or not you're making no profit or have no benefit in publicizing another site.) They also read your "private" messages, ban members for anything ranging from attempting to give someone your email address to using a blinkie they don't approve of, and delete or lock innocuous messages such as "Where did so-and-so go?" There are so many other positive, supportive sites out there for charting, pregnancy, and parenting (like Ovusoft

After being a member for 6 years and paing their once one time lifetime fee, I was banned for giving my email address to someone. Heaven forbid someone try to connect with peopl eoutside of their relm! I miss it now that I want to TTC again, and am looking for a place to go that have charting forums that are very active

I thought FF was great until I ran into stormy. Apparently having an original thought is a big No No. Unless you agree with the rest of the 'clique' you will be warned, restricted or banned, and this is generally just after you have renewed.... Oh and ladies who are still on FF, check your 'days remaining' every day. It seems that FF likes to change those, too.....
