Nature
This subject idea can be combined with an animal to create a hip project. Find a lake, forest or cool landscape and make a story about the elements located there. If you choose to place an animal in the mix, your indie film could have even more possibilities. There is no need to stick to a children's storyline if that doesn't interest you.
