Creating an at-home aromatherapy spa has never been so much fun or so time-saving! These recipes are fast and simple, and you'll be pleasantly surprised at how rewarding and relaxing it can be to clean your home in a Zen Cleanse state of mind!

Creamy Peppermint Soft Scrubber
Touted for it's invigorating properties, peppermint infuses an uplifting, cheerful energy that is perfect for those days you need a little extra motivation to get started.

1 cup baking soda
1/4 cup Borax laundry booster
1 Tbs liquid castile soap
5-10 drops peppermint essential oil
1/4 cup water

Combine all ingredients in medium sized jar. Fasten lid and shake very well. Pour a small amount directly onto cleaning brush or sponge, and watch grime and residue disappear with very little effort! Rinse well with the hottest water you can stand - no need to polish fixtures since they will shine so nicely after this natural cleansing.

Lavender Blossom Glass & Window Cleaner
Lavender's relaxing qualities combine with the natural disinfectant of vinegar to bring your home a peaceful, sparkling shine.

2 cups water
1/2 cup white household vinegar
6-8 drops lavender essential oil

Combine all ingredients in large spray bottle. Gently shake to blend before use.

Olive-Citrus Dusting Polish
Treat yourself (and your furniture) to the cheerful effects of sweet orange and lemon.

1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
2-4 drops sweet orange essential oil

Pour all ingredients into clean, recycled container or bowl. Gently swirl to blend. Dip soft cloth into mixture and polish to an old fashioned, healthy luster. This is excellent for keeping wood in new condition, as well as re-nourishing neglected or old wood. As you polish, remember all the trees that are now providing you with this sturdy furniture, and appreciate the beauty they continue to provide.

Rosemary's Residue-Removing Counter Cleanser
The wonderful rich scent of rosemary combines with the power of castile soap to create an energizing and highly effective cleanser that will quickly zap away hairspray, deodorant, and other sticky residue.

These sound great. I'm going to try at least one soon. The peppermint tea for floors sounds interesting - I suppose you can equally well use fresh mint? I read that you need to be careful of vinegar on marble as it may gradually cause some damage. I use just vinegar in water to clean my floors sometimes (ceramic tiles). So far it seems fine. It certainly cuts thru' dirt very easily.
