Parenting Thought of the Day for August 7, 2007

Remember the things you wanted to do and the places you wanted to go as a kid.

Put those things in action with your children,
As well as places and things they suggest.

Take them to a beach to collect seashells
And to build sand castles.

Save for a trip to Disneyland or Sea World.

Try to expose your children to as much fun as
 possible.

Being a child only comes once.
Help your children enjoy it.

I agree Becky. It 'is' hard sometimes. Sounds like you're doing a great job. :-)

Sometimes it is hard to remember that we were children once now that we have so much more responsibility placed on us. Still, this is something I try to do with my kids. Wherever we go I try to think of things that will make the experience one that they will always remember.

Wonderful thought! We must savor their childhoods because it goes so fast. Thanks for the reminder!
