Can't make it down to the Caribbean to enjoy a Cheeseburger in Paradise? Then head on over to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at Universal Studio's City Walk in Orlando, Florida. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville offers the music, the laid-back atmosphere, the menu, and the delicious cocktails his restaurants have come to be known for. Here is a restaurant review of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in Orlando, Florida.

Can I write a review of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville without overusing Jimmy Buffet lyrics? Well, I'll sure try.

You have a whole host of restaurants to choose from at Universal Studio's City Walk, so why select Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville? For one, the atmosphere. Margaritaville is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a few cocktails (margaritas or otherwise), and listen to some tunes from the famous crooner himself. Large projection screens will make you feel like you are at a live concert, while live music will occasionally make it so. The service is fast and friendly, and between drinks you can browse their terrific gift shop. After your third or fourth margarita (they are both delicious and strong), you may decide you absolutely need a tee shirt or hat that will remind you where you have been.

The food is excellent and reasonably priced. My favorite is the Cheeseburger in Paradise, which is cooked to perfection (even if you want it medium rare!) and served with fresh lettuce and tomato, and a tasty side of fries. In fact, just about all of their sandwiches are great, including the Portobello mushroom. Save room for dessert, because the after-dinner treats at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville are surprisingly good.

If you have the Two-Park Preferred Annual Pass to the Universal Studios theme parks, you can save ten percent on food, beverages and merchandise at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, so be sure to present your card sometime during your meal.

I don't know if they still have these items, but when I worked there, my two favorite things were the Cuban Meatloaf sandwich and the Cocunut Shrimp. They had the best marmalade dipping sauce for the shrimp!
