MOVAVI Suite Edition is a Collection of Video/Audio Programs

As more and more people get camcorders, they need help with their video editing. MOVAVI Suite Edition is a suite of video software, and it delivers a lot of bang for the buck. The CD includes all the MOVAVI video software: EnhanceMovie, ConvertMovie, SplitMovie, DVDPizza, ChiliBurner, and two audio products: AUDINI Converter and AUDINI CD Burner.

Among the functions, you can convert video files into other formats, grab soundtracks, spiff up dark, discolored video clips, split videos into clips for editing, and copy/backup DVDs. The suite also includes audio conversion and CD burning.

EnhanceMovie 

EnhanceMovie, clever video enhancement software, lets you fix video quality. We’ve all come up with noisy video, dark images, poor contrast, white balance that’s out of balance, blurry images and other problems. You don’t have to toss the footage (like many once had to do with bad Super 8 film footage).

EnhanceMovie is simple to use, so no reason to be intimidated. Its familiar drag-and-drop interface, auto filters and tutorials simplify the process. In addition, effects filters let you “jazz up” videos in fun ways such as posterize, invert and grayscale. All the popular video formats are supported.

You don’t have to use any effects or filters. For many, all you’ll need to do is use one (or more) of the four Easy Fix icons. The main one is Magic Enhance. After loading a video, you just hold down the mouse button on it, and drag over to the preview window. You’ll see the instant improvement. You can click on Original, Filtered or Split screens. If you want more improvements, use the Auto Contrast, Auto Saturation and Auto White Balance.

It’s a snap to un-do the changes. Remember, nothing has happened to your original footage because you haven’t saved the changes to hard disk yet. Want more changes? As with Photoshop, there are many manual manipulations you can do. These include Brightness/Contrast, Sharpen, Color Temperature, Hue/Saturation, Color Balance and more.
