WRONG, unless you grew up in a church that reads the bible of Homer Simpson. Everyone in this world will encounter a time when another person rips their heart out and stomps on it, and everyone will meet the time when they feel totally taken advantage of. The only mercy for the other party is if these negative feelings inflicted on others were unintentional.

If you are, in fact, a member of the Homer Simpson cult, it is quite possible that you would justify your own actions by pointing the finger at another. This is merely a greedy & self-righteous way of patching one's own pride. This is nothing more than a barbaric way of making yourself feel better for a short period of time.

For example, Sally thinks Jim has been spreading rumors about her at work. Sally is wrong about the Jim's actions toward her, and Sally quickly retaliates. What Sally thought was retaliation turns into a personal attack on Jim, and now Sally is the offensive person doing wrong to Jim. Now everything weighs on Sally's conscience and Sally has to apologize and look like the crazy person. Not exactly what Sally had planned on, but Sally's actions caused all of the problems, and now Sally wishes she would have walked away, or possibly just talked to Jim.

When you have your feelings hurt, or you have been taken advantage of; turn the other cheek and walk away. Sometimes things that cause us hurt and pain in this life are merely misunderstandings, and can simply be talked out. Occasionally there are vicious and malicious people in this world, who try to strip you of everything you have. The best reaction you can have to a situation such as this is to walk away.

God didn't send anyone to this earth to punish other's for their wrongs, nor to mirror their actions. The only actions you should ever be concerned about are your own. You make all of the decisions and reasoning on them, right? The only thing that matters in this life is knowing you did everything you could possibly do the right way. Two Wrongs = Two Wrongs. One Wrong + One Right = One Wrong, and One Right... Which one are you?

Takeaways
  • One Wrong + One Wrong = Two Wrongs
  • One Wrong + One Right = One Wrong and One Right
