In case you've been living in a cave, Kanye West's Graduation and 50 Cent's Curtis are both dropping on the same day. September 11th, 2007 marks the official showdown. Who will sell more CD's? 50 Cent says that it will be no contest and he even challenged Kanye to a debate over it.

Kanye's reply was calling it "the stupidest thing" ..."What am I going to debate about?" he said. "I'm going to go in the studio and make music." Kanye then took it further by adding, "With 50's album dropping and my album dropping on the same day, everybody wins because you get a lot of good music at the same time."

Maybe these tracklists will give you the insight you need to place your bets on the future album sales between the two atists.

Big Ross i understand what you are saying...but he doesn't make the music he claims he does. He makes rap. sure his music appeals to some people, some people are stupid. Kanye makes hip-hop, like the other people i mentioned. if you are a true lover of hip-hop, you should enjoy their music. O yeah and kanye produces the sickest beats..

One more thing (and I know I'm instigating but that interview was hilarious), he got some serious pauses when he said he didn't feel that Kanye represented for the streets of Chicago. 50 said that although 50 came out with a song about God, it go no airplay but "Jesus Walks" did. From that comment, I wondered if that's how Kanye grabbed his attention from the get-go because it's not like those are the only two CDs coming out on 9/11. But he said that if Kanye represented for the hood of Chicago, then anybody could take over that hood. Now that's when I wasn't really laughing though. My ex-boyfriend said the same thing--that Kanye was an embarrassment to the hood. I don't agree. I think Kanye just decided to go in a positive route, and by him doing so, he should not be ridiculed for doing it. It's one thing to say someone went a different route, but to say that since they decided to be positive then they can't represent their hometown was a low blow.

However, he did state that his competition with Kanye was friendly and no real beef, like with the Game or Fat Joe. And speaking of Fat Joe, he stated on the radio that he wanted to sign with Remy Ma, but Fat Joe has some kind of legal binding on the contract so when they released her, she is banned from working on G-Unit's label. I guess Fat Joe knew what was coming because working with 50 was going to be...wow...I guess I'll have to quote Ja here...Murdaaaaaaaaaah! (Note: I was so ashamed of myself for listening. I was getting ready to get out of the car, but kicked my shoes off and sat in the parking lot of Wal~mart for an hour so I could listen to the entire retarded interview. What's worse is that I probably never would've listened to Kanye that long. Kanye spends a little too much time bragging on himself, but 50 is funny as hell. Dammit man. I guess I'll buy both CDs. One for the knowledge and the other for kicks.

Then the dude went so far as to say that Kanye might be fashionable, but he wasn't going to be wearing Louis Vouitton (sp?) purses like Pharrell. I'm talking about he was just bowling pins on everybody: Pharrell, T.I., Kanye, and even Jay-Z. He said he went to some concert and Kanye asked the King of New York to come out and this fool came back out on stage like "I thought I already performed." He said Jay-Z bumped him and said "You just had to come back out, didn't you?" and laughed about it. WGCI got such a kick out of him. He was really showing off yesterday.

I could've sworn I commented on this article, but I might've just read it instead. Anyway, 50 Cent was in Chicago talking mad shit about Kanye, just clownin' dude. Even worse, Chitowners kept calling in talking about how much they love 50. Nobody dogged Kanye, but I felt bad for him for so many people to be on 50's jock like that in his own hometown. I'd expect it in New York, but not in Chicago where Kanye actually does get a lot of love. One grandmother called in talking about how much she loves 50 and telling radio listeners to drink his water. Three girls called in screaming "I love you" and putting their mothers on the phone. It was straight groupie love on Saturday.
