Season 3 Lost Predictions

Betrayal to the Others is Complete

1. Locke goes over to the other side.

Locke is bitter about being used as a mouse in the hatch. After that hatch explosion he casts himself arift in the wilderness. He withdraws from both Losties and Others and journeys to the far side of the island to research the map.

He realizes the wheelchair is his doom for life off the island and is better off preserving the island mystique that keeps him ambulatory. Locke and Henry have a bond over the time spent in the hatch, and Locke will use his knowledge of the Pearl hatch and the map with the question mark to buy a place in the other's camp. The Losties may think he died.

But at the ultimate point of proving himself he will have another dream and go a different way.

2. Jack and Kate get together but split up

Kate will commit to a relationship with Jack but split when she finds out Jack and Ana Lucia hooked up. The others will work to break her trust in him. She will help Sawyer do something bad and Jack will feel betrayed.

3. Hurley discovers Libby's fate and meets his own death.

Jorge Garcia is leaving the show but will help the Losties so his death will not be in vain. Hurley will die trying to save the 3 prisoners on the dock. Hurley will also appear to Charlie when Locke is threatened and Charlie will need to use the numbers for something. Rousseau will assist Hurley for her own reasons. (She may have found Hugo's will).

4. Desmond mobilises the Losties to realize they need to make decision about life on the island

Desmond has returned to the island because he is guilty about Kelvin. Desmond has  past which involves one other Losty, maybe Sayid which is why is no longer Lance Corporal Desmond. 

5. Claire and Charlie hook up, but someone else wants Claire....

One of the Others has fallen for Claire but does not want Aron. This will make for an unholy alliance between Desmond and Charlie. Desmond will be tempted to give up the baby to be allowed to go back to civilization. Charlie is left for dead...(again)

6. Eko becomes unbalanced in his faith in Emi and the hatch
