Well Ladies I have only been married for a year, but I have been with my hubby for eight years. Over these eight years I have found several ways to keep our relationship a happy one. Here's a few things I have learned:

10) Make him laugh: They say laughter is the best medicine, I also believe it works wonders in relationships. Whether it be by telling him a joke or a funny story, or by making yourself look like a total idiot! Do whatever it takes. I have this thing I do to make my man laugh... it's called the rubber band arms dance. Let me put it this way: I would never do it in public, but making myself look like a total idiot even for a minute is worth it just to make him smile.

9) Give him a look: When you are out in public, at a party or a club/bar look at him as if he is the only one in the room. Make sure you flash him your pearly whites! This may seem like a simple meaningless act but trust me it is something he will always remember.

8) Listen to his stories: Even if you have already listened to them a million times. When he tells you these things he's showing that he cares, and that he wants to share his life with you. It's a form of intimacy plain and simple. So the next time he tells you about his day listen up! It shows that you care.

7) Stand by your man: When he is passionate about something that's important to him, stand by his side! Even if you don't entirely share the same view. Support him on it, you don't always have to agree to be supportive. You know what they say, behind every great man is a strong woman!

6) Do something he enjoys: How many times have you made him go to chick flicks with you? Or made him listen to your favorite radio station? Compromising is always good, but participating in something he wants to do is better!

5) Be spontaneous: Walk into the room and belt out a tune, do a crazy dance, or simply give him a passionate kiss when he least expects it! It shows you are still interested in capturing his attention. These are moments he will never forget.
