Local Bands that Rock Around Marshfield, Wisconsin

In Marshfield, Wisconsin a lot of the local bars have live bands on the weekends. They really draw in the crowds for some of them. There are so many awesome local bands that put on a great show and play amazing! Here are some of my favorite ones.

Area 51 is from Wausau, Wisconsin. The band consists of Rico on guitar and vocals, Gary in bass and vocals and Timmy on drums and vocals. They do all covers from Godsmack to Buckcherry to Rob Zombie. This band is amazing and one of my favorites! They have a huge local fan club. You can see pictures of them and find out where they are playing next.

Less of 12 is a newer band in the area but they are really awesome. They write all of their own music and it is really good. The band consists of Adam on vocals and guitar, Matt on bass and Justin on drums. They play a few of Tool's songs also and really hit it to a T. They are from the Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids area. They have a huge fan base already! You can check these guys out on their website. Like I said they have original music and that is great to hear these days!

Vader's Mistress is not really a local band but they play quite often in the area. They are from Michigan. The band has Kevin on lead guitar, Eric on rhythm guitar, Ryan on bass guitar and vocals, Brandon on drums and Carrie on lead vocals. Carrie has an awesome voice and she can change her tone to sing any song it is amazing. These guys play everything from pop to modern rock. They also have quite a few of their own songs that they have written. They are currently working on a national tour to promote their new cd. They also have some of their original songs you can listen to on there.

Shattered Red is a band from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They are a high energy band and really know how to keep the crowd going! This band consists of Jon on vocals, Mike on guitar, Brad on bass and Marc on drums. They explain themselves as sounding like between Radiohead and Slayer.
