Secrecy cannot exist

Without the consequences

Of shame.

It cannot thrive

Without manipulation.

It however can become

An unspeakable act

Performing no real great

Deeds.

Secrecy survives only by

A persistently invincible

Perpetrator or one

Who subsequently condones

The facade of invincibility.

Secrecy requires illicitly

A treasure worth concealing

And a forum in which to conceal.

Secrecy is passed on from

One extreme forum to another

Opened just enough to tease,

Secluded, yet exposed

Just enough to please

Contained yet unoccupied

Secrecy is held out to it's

Victims close enough to

Pose a threat but far

Enough so as not to be

Able to dissect.

The Secret monger

I believe retains

The power to deceive.
