Through the movie we follow Michael Myers from one killing to another as he searches for the where about of his long lost baby sister. The suspense of each person he stalks leaves you clutching your seat and holding your breath as you see a hand go slack as a knife comes down, yet we see no almost no blood and minimal dead bodies. Very few bodies are visibly stabbed in the 1978 movie as John Carpenter showed the movie in a suspenseful way.
Rob Zombie now gives us his version of this classic due for release at theaters August 21, 2007. Casting Scout Taylor Compton as Laurie Strode, Malcolm McDowel as Dr Loomis and Tyler Mane as Michael Myers we have actors that are recreating the drama of a classic film with a new twist.
Having seen several of Rob Zombie's horror movies I can honestly say that as a director his movies will make you scream for your mama as you hide your eyes from the bloody gore and the torment his prey experience at the hands of the predators. Rob Zombie's twisted mind will indeed bring a new view to the classic tale of the boy who became the boogie man in the movie Halloween.
