Best and Worst Movies of Nicole Kidman

Best MoviesThe Others (2001)
Why? Because it's got a little of everything from Nicole. Not only can you hate her character one minute but you can trust her as a great hero the next.
The Hours (2002)
Why? It's certainly not that fake nose, but her Academy Award-winning portrayal of Virgina Woolf is the most believable in film history.
Cold Mountain 2003)
Why? Because I think her Golden Globe-nominated performance was powerful and dramatic given the romance-novel material.
Moulin Rouge! (2001)
Why? I honestly do not know why. I didn't care for the film as much as so many others do, but her fine performance as Satine makes it all the more bearable.
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
Why? It's puzzling to me still, but Nicole's nice portrayal of Alice Harford, a doctor's wife in Stanley Kubrick's final psychological thriller is just about the best part of this film. Of course, some of Kubrick's well-directed nude scenes make Nicole's performance that much more special. I can't help it, I'm a guy.
Far and Away (1992)
Why? Because Nicole brought a lot of charm and grace to the very spirited, and strong Irish character of Shannon Christie.
The Interpreter (2005)
Why? Because Nicole is both believable and powerful as Silvia Broome in the Hitchcock-like thriller.
Worst Movies
The Stepford Wives (2004)
Personal note: Believe me, this was a shock considering the fact that I really enjoy director, Frank Oz's previous work so much.
Practical Magic (1998)
Personal note: I don't why, I just didn't like her forgettable performance in this movie.
Birthday Girl (2001)
Personal note: This was another one of her more forgettable performances.
Bewitched (2005)
Personal note: She's weak, Ferrill is weak, the whole movie is weak.
Birth (2004)
Personal note: This is beyond weak, it's pathetic on all fronts.
Malace (1993)
Personal note: Maybe we can forgive this lame performance due to the fact that Kidman was just starting out. Then again, maybe not.
