High Point City Lake Park-High Point, NC

Located in the city of Jamestown, NC is a great park that has alot to offer visitors of all ages. The park is situated on a large lake, known as High Point City Lake. HIgh Point City Lake Park has alot of parking and there are picnic shelters available for rentals.

Perhaps the most exciting thing about the actual park is the rides that High Point City Lake has to offer the visitors. Guests can purchase tickets or play passes for a nominal fee to ride the rides available. There is a carousel with horses and seats in the center of the park that guests can ride on. Small children must be accompanied by an adult rider to ensure the safety of all riders. The park has a small miniature golf courses that guests of all ages enjoy. Balls and clubs are available at the concession stand for playing on the course. High Point City Lake has also provided a small passenger train that carries riders on a scenic tour of the park. The train tracks run along the side of the lake and there is a tunnel that the train will go through.

High Point City Lake Park has two playgrounds for children to enjoy. One is for smaller children and has safety swings and small climbing toys. The other playground is a newly built delight for children. There are so many things for children to do at the playground. Climbing structures, slides, monkey bars, ziplines and lots of other playthings make High Point City Lake Park a favorite!

HIgh Point City Lake Park has a large family pool with a waterslide. The pool has its own admission and the admission price is very reasonable. There are concession stands available that offer simple lunches, snacks and drinks.

Guests can enjoy fishing at High Point City Lake or paddleboating around the lake as well. There is also a larger tour boat available that takes you around the lake. Tickets can be purchased at the concession stand.
