According to Strauss Law Groups new release, workers for the Thousand Oaks Car Wash in Thousand Oaks, Ca., have filed a class action law suit accusing the business of treating their employees as slave workers as well as allegedly threatening the employees with deportation if they did indeed complain.

The car wash which is located at 2725 Thousand Oaks Blvd, has had a class action suit filed against them by Strauss Law Group and the Quirk Law Firm. The accusations are that the owners of the Thousand Oaks Car Wash have allegedly hired employees that have no documents and force them to work for free for the first month. Other allegations include employees who are being paid under minimum wage and constant threats of deportation.

More of the suit states that the car wash is allegedly refusing to pay their employees until they are satisfied with the work that is performed. Once the owners are satisfied, employees are then allegedly paid $5.00 an hour to start. Current California minimum wage is $7.50. It is also alleged that Thousand Oaks Car Wash asked employees to report to work by 8:00 a., however they would not be paid until the first car came through for a car wash. And last but not least, the class action law suit states that the employees of the Thousand Oaks Car Wash were allegedly made to work over 10 hours a day, with no lunch breaks or rest breaks.

As with any class action suit, one party litigates for the rest of the parties that are involved. Being that these are illegal immigrants, Strauss Law Group has acquired the services of an immigration attorney from Gabriella Navarro-Busch. The complaint also states that employees of the Thousand Oaks Car Wash have not complained until now since they were allegedly threatened with deportation if they had.

You make want to consider this,, they are here illegally, they dont have much money. They will do whatever it takes to get a free lunch, no matter who takes the fall. They are not the innocent victims, as the law firm and blood sucking lawyers make them out to be. They should not be able to use the judicial system of this country for their illegall opportunistic ways. If it was so bad, why didnt they just quit and look for another job, the boss didnt hang and beat them daily. This liberal country better wake up. America will soon be speaking spanish or another third world langauge. Please press 1 if you want to speak in spanish.

If this is true, the business has taken advantage of the ones working there. On the other hand, they shouldn't be there. And if they are illegal, how can they take advantage of the judicial system? And are they still here or were they deported? Very interesting.
