Banner Help for Photobucket Users
After you have uploaded all your banners to your album go to the overview of your album. For this example: here
You will see loads of stuff under each picture.
If you have a webpage and you wish to place those banners on your own website you would use the HTML TAG option. Being sure to of course change the link of where you want the site to open to. This would make the banner on your webpage and when you click it, it will open a page.
This is html
For the webmasters who wish to learn what the above html means. The bolded bit is the part you would change of where you want the banner to open up to, (the site's location.) The img bit, means image of the banner, src means source of the banner. Put img and src together and it means image source
Now if you wish to redeem your banners for banner ads, the only thing you would need is the URL LINK from photobucket. Hence it's name, URL LINK.
Many PTR websites will say "banner url" "Paid link url." The paid link url is the site you wish to have the banner link to. So let's say you want to advertise " amylynn" you would place that into the slot where it says "paid link url." Url means the location.
Sometimes we have noticed that those links don't always work though. So simply click on one of the banners.
Now on the right is also the same code that was displayed under the banners in the display of the whole album. Instead of using that code though, you can right click directly on the banner and select properties, place your mouse on the address field right click select all, right click copy. Here remove everything after the .gif so the link reads: Here
Once again that is only the URL you need of the banner. It doesn't mean when you click that link it will open to a new site. The only time a plain banner will open to a new site is when it is directly linked to the site you wish it to open to.
When you redeem for banners, be sure to not use the html. The PTR webmaster will reject banner ads written with html. Cash crusader scripts are written for you (the member) to input only the banner URL and site URL.
