Nouns are- people, places, animals, things and ideas, there are many different types of nouns and they are as followed;

There are common and proper nouns.

Common nouns are the everyday names, of people, places, animals, things and ideas.

Common nouns include;
Man
Bear
Church
Book

Proper nouns name very specific people, places, animals, things, and ideas, and these nouns always begin with a capital letter.

Proper nouns include

President Clinton
Polar Bear
Mosaic Boston Church
The Holy Bible

There are concrete and abstract nouns.

Concrete nouns are people, places, animals, things, and ideas that you can- see, hear, taste, smell, and touch.

Concrete nouns include;

Ball (you can see, and touch the ball, you could even taste and smell the ball if you wanted to)

Cookies (you can see, taste, touch, and smell the cookies.)

Cologne (you can see, touch, and smell the cologne; you could even taste the cologne, if you wanted to.)

Peppers (you can see, touch, taste, and smell the peppers.)

Guitar (you can see, touch, and hear the guitar.)

Clock (you can touch, see, and hear the clock)

Abstract nouns are the group of nouns that can not be perceived by the five senses, and these groups of nouns include emotions, ideas, qualities and feelings.

Abstract nouns include;
Love (feeling)
Hate (feeling)
Humble (quality)
Patient (quality)
Peace (idea)
War (idea)

All of these abstract nouns do exist however they can not be perceived by the five senses; you can not taste them, you can not touch them, you can not smell them, and you can not see them. Yes you can see what makes a person love, or feel loved but you can not really see love.

There are collective nouns.

Collective nouns are the nouns that name groups of people, places, things, and animals.

Collective nouns include;
