If you are interested in GED testing in Atlanta, Georgia there are a few options out there for you. Right now there are free classes going on at The Dogwood Branch Library. The address is 1838 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW if you're interested in going. The classes started on May 16th, 2006 and the program is said to go on until December 2007. These classes are taught by professional teachers. For more information on the classes please call 404-792-4961. There are multiple GED testing centers in the area. Atlanta Technical College at 1560 Metropolitan Parkway offers testing. For further information call 404-225-4468. The Atlanta Workforce Developement Agency offers free classes, also. Around five hundred students complete the course each year and receive their GED! There are classes in the morning and evening at no cost. You can enroll at any time. Call Marva Richardson at 404-658-6201 for more information and to enroll.
There are three other libraries that offer GED classes. East Point Branch offers classes Mondays and Wednesdays from 10am-12pm. Call them at 404-762-4842. Central Library also offers classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 5:30pm-8:30pm. Registration is only on the first Tuesday of every month.
