imports from England and a cozy shopping atmosphere.

This grocery store is environmentally conscious and known for treating their customers and employees with a high level of respect. Fresh and Easy is owned by Tesco, a company based out of the UK. Tesco was started in 1919 by a man named Jack Cohen who began selling groceries just after WWI.

The grocery stores are about 10,000 square feet and offer organic health foods, fresh fruits and vegetables, pre-prepared foods and all the everyday staples. They focus on providing a customer friendly atmosphere in which you can find high quality healthy food at a low price.

I am impressed by their philosophy regarding how they treat employees. They believe the best way to achieve customer satisfaction is to have happy employees. That is why they believe in paying their employees well and providing good benefits. This quote from the Fresh and Easy blog demonstrates that belief, "I suppose you could try and control each experience by sending out pages and pages of detailed instructions to each store team, and scripts to be followed when talking to customers. But that's not our way. In our view (at the risk of being trite), it's much simpler: happy staff = happy customers." It is amazing how many companies never learn that simple lesson. That belief makes me want to shop there even more, because I want to support them for being an ethical business.

Why would you write an article about a new store in Mesa and not even mention WHERE in Mesa? What's the address? At least give the cross streets.
I'm glad someone is going the extra mile to see to it that we the people of the these United States are getting fresh food for our families. And happy to hear that Fresh & Easy Stores cares enough about their employees to pay them higher wages in return for good customer service. P.S. This story about killing turtles alive for food. May I ask? How else are we going to eat them...."ALIVE"....Who ever believes stakes, burgers, fish, and "chicken" is not killed before eating them must be on "drugs" or from another planet. Come on get real !!! Fresh & Easy keep up the good work of bringing fresh good food to our homes.
This all looks very good, but where has your research come from ? Fresh and Easy have not even opened its first store yet so you must be basing your view on Tesco. I suggest that you research a little bit further before presenting such a glowing article and see what is reported about at how Tesco treats people and workers here; http://www.tescopoly.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=413&Itemid=176 http://www.tescopoly.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=55&Itemid=176 I would also suggest that you look at what is reported in total about Tesco here; http://www.tescopoly.org/ There are many other issues, one of them being that Tesco butcher turtles alive in their stores in China; http://www.turtlesco.com http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/518761759 You do not work for Fresh & Easy do you ?
