The Car Care Council lists some of the dangers that your car will encounter as you drive through a construction zone as loose stones and bumps along the road surface. The stones and other debris can also cause damage to not only your windshield, but the paint on the exterior of your car as well.

So, how do you know if your car has suffered steering, suspension, or alignment damage after driving through a construction zone? Well there are several items that can clue you into the fact that you could have a problem. These include if your car pulls to one side, you hear unusual road noise while driving, or there is an uncommon vibration as you drive around corners. You might also notice uneven wear on your tires as long as you check them regularly.
