Startouch pedals are handmade A/B and A/B/Y line selectors by a real friendly guy named Tony who caters to his clients every need. So how good are his pedals? The best A/B pedals I've ever played. With many of these type of pedals the problem is that they will squeal or pop when switching lines, buzz when you hook them up, or kill the tone of your guitar/amp. Not so with these pedals. Startouch pedals are very easy to use. You have one imput and two outputs. With the A/B pedal, you simply press the button to switch between the two outputs. It's great because even the switch is silent, unlike some stompboxes which have a very obnoxious click that everyone in your gig can hear.
If you buy an A/B/Y switch then you are also given another switch that allows both outputs to be on at once, so you can run one guitar to two amps or two guitars to one amp.
They surpass anything close in price to them. No popping, no ghost notes: just exactly what you want. My recommendation is the STG-1 as it is perfect and the regular ST-1 pops occasionally (but definately not often). Service is the best and you can get a 9v adapter too if you ask him for it. If you need this type of pedal don't look anywhere else just because its not a major company like boss, then you're missing out, because they are quality.
