Champlain Centre North was originally built in 1987 by the Pyramid Management Group, a privately owned retail developer and management firm headquarted in Syracuse, NY.

A popular destination for area residents, visitors to the North Country  and cross-border (Canadian) shoppers, Champlain Centre draws its audience from locations as far as Montreal, Quebec - Burlington, Vermont - the Tri-Lakes Area and further South towards Lake George.
