Energizer is now making this portable charging technology available for iPod users by licensing an adjustable Apple iPod tip so that it can be compatible with most versions of the iPod like the iPod video and iPod Nano. The Energizer Energi To Go Portable Power for the iPod runs on two of Energizer's proprietary e2 Lithium AA batteries. The Energi To Go for the iPod has a one of a kind flip design so that users can use it as a stand while charging as well as provide easy storage. According to Energizer, the design of the Energi To Go complements the iPod since it is sleek, compact and lightweight. Energizer included a patented control chip on the Energi To Go for iPod so that it can maximize power transfer to the MP3 device.

According to Energizer, when the company tested the Energizer e2 Lithium AA batteries, the Energi To Go for iPod provided playback time of more than 46 hours on the iPod nano while the iPod with Video has garnered more than 32 hours of playback when charged with the Energi To Go.
