Be Patient with Windows Vista, Despite Early Hardware and Software Problems,
Hardware capability would more than likely be the cause of most of the problems a person experiences when purchasing a new computer. Toning down the security levels and disabling some of the unnecessary features that are not needed will release a little more of the system's resources. It seems like the people at Microsoft have taken the security issues and standards to the extreme and made the new Vista system almost unusable.
There have been a great deal of horror stories and complaints associated with Vista and a lot of people are waiting on Microsoft to make improvements before they even consider using it. There is no need to worry about these small problems. The same thing happened with Windows XP. Many people waited until the people at Microsoft had all the kinks and flaws straightened out and working properly before they purchased it, or either after they bought it.
They still have a lot to do with Vista because it is not compatible with a lot of software programs. Vista is also more for business. The only bad thing about it is that you have to have enough memory to run it because it takes up more than Windows XP.
Like I am, most people are still using Windows XP, and they are very pleased with it. I am using dialup also as we cannot get DSL in my area. My internet service provider says Vista is not usable with them.
Consumers seem to think it is wrong that they create a new version and you can not have the choice of the old version. That is just how it is when new technology becomes available. It is not to hurt or harm, but only for things to serve a better purpose. Things only change because someone is always thinking of new ways to accomplish tasks.
